Community Groups

Our desire is that everyone who calls Grace Community Church their home would be known, feel part of this family, and become more like Christ through community.

The various Community Groups within Grace are a key linchpin to our church’s DNA. No matter your stage in life, there is a group for you (or room for one to be formed)!

Home Groups

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” Hebrews 10:24

Home Groups are a place for us to belong and become like Christ in the context of relationships—so home groups are small (usually fewer than 10 people) and meet at a host home for Bible Study and fellowship.  Home Groups are where real life and real issues are discussed. We celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another during the tough and disappointing times. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

We have Home Groups designed for different ages and life situations.  We have groups that meet in Woodland, Kalama, and La Center.  We have Home Groups that meet on different days and times throughout the week.  If you would like to find out more about our Home Group opportunities, please complete the online registration form. From there, you will be contacted with more information about various options.

Prayer Group

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” – Luke 18:1

Communicating with God is the greatest open door that Jesus has made available through which we might reach Him.  This invitation is to everyone both privately and corporately, through the church body.  At Grace, the importance of this principle is demonstrated through our Prayer Group.

The Prayer Group will be happy to pray with and/or for you if you let your request(s) be known.  The easiest way to do this is to complete a communication card and put it with the offering on Sunday.  You may also contact the church office with special requests.

Women’s Group and Men’s Group

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up,” -  1 Thessalonians 5:11

We provide opportunities for men and women to get connected, study God’s Word, and encourage each other in their walk with Christ. Our Women’s and Men’s Groups host special events and Bible/Book studies throughout the year.
