Purple Princess & Fairy Godfathers

In this years Race for the Cure
a few Grace Community Church members put their faith in ACTION as the Purple Princess & Fairy Godfathers.
*933 Teams participated
*over 35,000 individuals participated
*We personally had 17 team members including volunteer Randy and Rhonda (who was ill race day).
*11 of our team members participated in the race, all Team members participated in the walk.
*This was Becc
a, Rick and Ashley's first ever 5k-congratulations!!!*over $1 million was raised and more is still coming in to meet the goal of $2 million.
*75% of funds stay local to pay for free mammograms, etc. 25% of funds go toward Breast Cancer Research.
*1,085 runners in the 20th annual Race for the Cure- the largest event on the west coast to fight Breast Cancer.
Thank you everyone on team "Purple Princesses & Fairy Godfathers" in honor of Monika Hennings, for making this years Race for the Cure possible and so much fun!!!!
